How to place a bid on eBay... continued
Scroll down toward the bottom of the auction page, and you'll see a place
to enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay.
The actual page may look slightly different,
depending on whether this is the first bid made, whether Buy it Now is an
option, and so on. The important thing is that
you're asked to enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay.
To make a bid, you enter a dollar amount and click the Review bid
button. Then eBay displays its Review bid
screen. You confirm that you entered the amount you intended
to, then you click a button to submit your bid.
